Scenario:

Watch Video on weblogging in the classroom (approx 2 mins) from Will Richardson's web site Web-logged.

Blogging simulation activity



10 minutes
1. a. Individually create a response to some aspect of the clip that is pertinent to you.
b. Add keywords reflecting the content, nature or theme of your response.
This is an excellent lesson for introducing the idea of blogging to your students.

5 minutes
2. a. Meet with two other people and exchange your responses.
b. Add a comment (using the coloured post-it notes provided) to your colleague's response.

5 minutes
3. a. Meet with two different people and again exchange responses.
b. Add a comment to your colleague's response.

5 minutes
4. Find your original response. Reflect on it and the comments that have been added. Do you want to add anything? Delete anything? Has your thinking changed at all?
